Who we are

This policy covers this website only. If you have engaged us for consulting or coaching work, the handling of information from that engagement is dealt with in the engagement itself.

What this website collects

The enquiry form

The form asks for your name, email address, and optionally your organisation and role, together with your message. When you submit it, those fields are sent to us as an email, along with the date and time and the internet address (IP address) the form was sent from. The IP address is recorded so that abuse of the form can be traced.

Nothing from the enquiry form is stored in a database on this website. It arrives as an email and lives thereafter in our mailbox, as any email you sent us directly would.

The newsletter signup

The signup asks only for your email address. That address, the date and time, and the IP address you signed up from are written to a file on the web server, and a copy is emailed to us. The file is not reachable from the internet: the web server is configured to refuse any request for it.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which is built to count visits without identifying visitors. For each page view it records the page path, the website that referred you if there was one, your browser, your operating system, your device type, and an approximate location down to city level worked out from your IP address.

It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is not kept: it is combined with a value that changes every day to make a one-way hash, and then discarded. Because that value changes daily, the same visitor on two different days cannot be recognised as the same person, by us or by anyone else.

This is why you are not asked to consent to anything and are not shown a cookie banner. There is nothing stored on your device to consent to.

Requests your browser makes to other companies

Loading this website causes your browser to fetch typefaces from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Serving a file to your browser necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details to whoever serves it, so Google sees that much. They are not asked to identify you, they are not given anything you type, and we receive no information back from them.

Web server logs

Our hosting provider keeps the ordinary access log that every web server keeps: IP address, date and time, the file requested, the page that referred the request, and the browser string. These are used for security and for working out why something is broken.

Why we hold it

Enquiry form
To read your message and reply to it, and if the conversation goes further, to do the work you have asked about.
Newsletter
To send you the newsletter you asked for.
Analytics
To find out which pages are actually read, so that the writing on this site can be made more useful and the parts nobody reads can be cut.
Server logs
To keep the site running and to investigate abuse.

We do not use any of it for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Where it is held

This website, the newsletter file and our mailbox sit on shared hosting located in Sydney, New South Wales. Analytics data is held in the European Union by Plausible Insights OÜ, an Estonian company.

That means one disclosure outside Australia: analytics. Nothing you type into either form is sent to Plausible or to anyone outside Australia, and the analytics data that does leave cannot be traced back to you.

Who else sees it

Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is seen by:

  • our hosting provider, as the operator of the web server and the mailbox;
  • Plausible, for the analytics described above and nothing else;
  • Google, limited to the technical details of a file request, as described above;
  • our professional advisers, or an authority, where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Enquiries
Kept in our mailbox as the record of a conversation, and deleted on request.
Newsletter address
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, at which point it is removed from the file.
Analytics
Three years, then deleted. It is not linked to you at any point in that time.
Server logs
For the short period our hosting provider retains them, which is a matter of days to weeks rather than years.

Your rights, and how to use them

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it;
  • stop sending you the newsletter.

Email paul@regenerativeoutcomes.com.au and we will answer within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

If you are in Europe or the United Kingdom

We work with clients in the United Kingdom, Spain and elsewhere, so the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR may apply to you. Regenerative Outcomes Pty Ltd is the controller of your personal data. Our lawful bases are:

Enquiry form
Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or where that does not apply, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering a message you chose to send us.
Newsletter
Article 6(1)(a), your consent, given by submitting the signup form. You may withdraw it at any time and we will stop.
Analytics
Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read. We do not seek consent for this because nothing is stored on or read from your device, so the consent requirement in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive is not engaged. Our assessment of that legitimate interest is available on request.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you may complain to your own supervisory authority as well as to us.

Analytics data stays in the European Union. Anything you type into a form on this site is held in Australia, which the European Commission has not formally declared to provide adequate protection. If you would rather your details did not go to Australia, please email or telephone us instead of using the forms.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of any kind, and uses no local storage or similar technology on your device. Nothing here needs to be switched off.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who sees it, we will change this page and move the version number and date at the top. This is version 1.1, effective 25 September 2026. Version 1.1 removes unpkg.com, which the site no longer uses; version 1.0 took effect on 8 September 2026.
